Take a Closer Look at Our Factory
2024-12-18The Bank of Montreal (BMO) has officially opened its new branch in Toronto Eaton Centre, located next to Yonge-Dundas Square. This area, similar to New York’s Times Square, is a hub for dynamic advertisements.
MUXWAVE’s holographic invisible screen has been installed on the shopping mall’s glass facade and internal glass surfaces, covering an impressive total area of nearly 250m² with a pixel pitch of 3.9mm. Featuring high transparency, ultra-thin, and lightweight design, the screen adheres to the glass surface, allowing windows to display visuals while maintaining visibility from indoors and natural lighting. Through specialized content design, the screen creates a naked-eye AR visual effect, making the imagery appear as though it is floating in space and seamlessly blending with the surrounding environment.
The holographic invisible screen uses ultra-thin, lightweight materials and static driving technology to control the LED screen. Each pixel is driven by an independent IC, with 65,536 ICs per square meter at a 3.91mm pixel pitch. Unlike conventional dynamic scanning, our static scanning offers superior grayscale levels and stable image quality.
In January 2024, a 193m² welcome screen was installed at the south entrance of the ISE exhibition venue in Barcelona, Spain. In addition to that project, this transparent screen in Toronto marks MUXWAVE’s largest glass facade display solution in North America to date. The product has previously won the 2022 iF Design Award and was recognized as the “Digital Signage Project of the Year” at the 2024 AV Awards.
We extend our gratitude to Stingray, Bank of Montreal, Shawn O’Brien, Diego Borrego, Robin Salter, Mathieu Gaboury, Dale Hrynyk, and IA Interior Architects for their collaborative efforts in delivering this remarkable project.
Looking ahead, we anticipate more applications in similar scenarios, particularly in commercial displays, retail spaces, stage design, and digital exhibitions. With its ability to enhance visual appeal through cutting-edge technology, this solution promises to integrate creativity with functionality across diverse fields. It paves the way for deeper integration of digital and physical spaces, offering new possibilities for advertising, information display, and interactive experiences.
